Kyngervi, meaning ‘gender’ in Icelandic, is a new journal in Viking and Medieval Scandinavian Studies with a focus primarily on gender and queer studies, but also taking a broader consideration of studies of ‘the Other’ – we aim to bring the marginalised to the forefront. We therefore also centre race, disability, human/animal studies, and other related themes. Kyngervi is double-blind peer reviewed, run by students, for students to showcase their work!
